Story of the Angels

Rule 9: Angels are unaffected by the note.

"We Angels are created by god and assigned with the task of writing in the New Life note. That also the source of our immortal life..."

"Hold on, I don't quite understand this part."

"Simple said, a new life is full of possibilities. We feed on the time energy born from those possibilities."

"Hm, I have a question: If your life depends on writing in this note, why did you give it to me?"

"We are limited by many rules. We can't make any abnormal pregnancy. The only exception I knew is an angel named Gabriel, who made a virgin pregnancy under the permission of god. On the other hand, humans like you aren't limited by those rules."

"Then why do you come here?"

"A rule stated that I must find you within 60 days to protect you."

"From what?"

"You have experienced what happen when you write someone's name in the note, right?"

John nodded.

"Angels are genderless. We felt the sensation of both sides when the impregnation occurs. Normally it won't have any effect, but sometimes an Angel is affected and become male or female depend on their desire of sex. These Angels are called Fallen Angel and would be exiled from Heaven."

"These Fallen Angels would came after me to take the note?"

"Yes, but the Fallen Angels is no stronger than human. They are not the ones you should worry about."

"Then who?"

"The note's strongest power is its control over reincarnation. It helps damned souls return to life and gives them the chance to redeem.

There are some Fallen Angels who still kept the note when being exiled. But the note given to us has limited pages. To prolong their lives as much as possible, they violated the rule and use that power on living people. That phenomenon is called "unbirth". Unbirthing not only makes energy from the possibilities of the new life, but also from the possibilities of the life which has been lost. However, that kind of energy is impure. It corrupted the Fallen Angels into monsters.

We called them 'the Weeping Angels'."
