Storming the Nega Base

Blaze and Silver looked at the map Marine made for them about Eggman Nega's fortress, Silver impressed by the young girl's memory, mapping skills, and bravery since she would have had to have been there to analyze all of this. With Metal Blaze running amok at the time, that girl had courage, that's for sure. They were deciding how to go in, Blaze noticeable closer to Silver, as Silver soon took her in, his heart fluttering a bit. He's so glad he's gotten to know this Blaze, because now he started to know those feelings again. He made a vow that after they won he was not going to let this pass by her again and tell her the truth about his feelings. However they had a world to save first.

There was no way to hit it from above without being blown out of the sky, there was no way a direct **** would work they lacked the man power, then a naval **** was proposed which got Silver's attention as Blaze asked if Marine still had her submarine. Luckily the little racoon said that she did, and that's when the plan started to come into motion more. The only way they were going to get in is if they snuck in from under the base. It was still risky, there was no way to know if Nega was waiting for them considering he had the Sol Emeralds. However, it was the best plan they had at the time.

While moving in the Submarine, Marine started to be unsure due to all the underwater mines, Silver sprang into action as he threw the mines out of their way as they all exploded shaking the sub a bit, but otherwise it was smooth sailing. When they arrived, Blaze motioned for Silver as the two put on wetsuits swimming towards the nearest grate, Blaze lit a small torch in her hand and carefully snapped open the grate blocking in the only entrance to the fortress. When the grate was gone the two swam up finally making it in.

As they got out however, Nega was waiting there for them, well his robots at least, the counterpart of the nefarious Eggman appearing on the screen, "Did you think I wouldn't notice all my underwater mines were destroyed?" responded the cold hearted scientist "I must say, Blaze, I can understand why you held these so close to you. These Sol Emeralds have made conquering this world a breeze, Metal Blaze was merely a footnote to this power."

Unintimidated Blaze said "You'll never know their true power, Nega." Blaze stood back to back to Silver as the two got ready for battle. "Nega! I'm far stronger than I've ever been." she lit herself ablaze, as Silver had a teal glow around his body, admiring Blaze's spirit. "I'm going to take the Sol Emeralds, save my home, and shut you down for good!"

Nega balked at that as he laughed at the effort, he said to her "We'll see about that, if you can even get to me. My lovely machines, do me a favor and make sure to leave corpses. I need to hang them on my wall outside." when the screen turned off, the bots attacked Blaze unleashing a massive torrent of fire causing t he machines to burst in front of them.

Silver had the back as he slammed bots into each other taking the missile tossing it into the bots next to them, the duo switched and did more of the same as the bots fell one by one, the room clearing out rather quickly. Silver looked at Blaze seeing her still raring to go. That passion that flooded her, flooded him as Blaze motioned for Silver to rip the door down, of which Silver did as the two stormed through Nega's base.

The two were dynamic and simply untouchable, Silver saving Blaze, Blaze saving Silver as they made it through **** traps, bots and all manner of tricks and traps until Silver used one of Nega's robots to burst down his door. There in the main hall was Nega clapping slowly as he said "Impressive duo you make," Silver and Blaze standing next to each other ready for a fight with the scientist as he clapped "I won't hang your bodies as a warning, no..." he smirked as he pressed a button on his chair as a dome closed over him, as a humungous mech towered above the duo, special glass domes lighting up as Blaze shook a little in horror, but regained her focus as Silver looked at them. That has to be the Sol Emeralds! Silver got ready with Blaze by his side, as the final battle was set to begin.
