"Born a Mutant and worshipped as a Goddess due to her ability to manipulate the weather, Ororo Munroe became the X-Man known as Storm. As the regent of Sol and the protector of Arakko, she now serves as a protector for Mutants on Earth and beyond.

The chronal energy generated by the Timestream Entanglement has resulted in violent temporal tempests on the sentient island Krakoa, the nation that the X-Men call home. Although her powers are capable of stabilizing the island's climate, Storm seeks a more permanent solution alongside her fellow heroes."

While actually native to the United States, Ororo Munroe has a family history that connects her to the continent of Africa, descending from a line of priestesses and witches. After the plane her family was riding in crashed down in Kenya, Ororo found herself both an orphan and buried deep under several feet of ruble. This experience would traumatize the six year old Ororo, causing her to develop claustrophobia. After eventually freeing herself, Ororo would find herself stuck in country she was unfamiliar with, being **** to wander the streets as a thief to survive. That is, until she awakened her X-Gene, which granted her the ability to manipulate the weather around her. Briefly worshipped as a goddess, Ororo was soon recruited into the X-Men where she was given the codename, Storm. Storm would grow to become close with her fellow mutants, becoming both a teacher and a leader. Storm is **** to be reconned with as she is an Omega Level Mutant, meaning she the strongest mutant with her type of abilities. So strong, that not even the cosmic storm that had ripped the living island nation of Krakoa off the face of universe found itself bending its knee to Storm's command. Using her powers, Storm managed to land Krakoa in the year 2099.
