Storm (and then to Psylocke)

... Storm. The weather goddess was far too powerful awake for the symbiote to safely infect her and still be the dominant mind in this partnership. At least, while awake, that is. Alongside this was another problem- Psylocke, the troublesome British psychic had been a large help to the Avengers during the recent showdown that may or may not have resulted in Venom losing, was right behind Storm, and would see the symbiote latching onto Storm's boot. A new plan was necessary.

Thinking fast, the symbiote split itself into two, first moving up onto Psylocke's boots before wrenching sharply to the side. While the Brit stumbled partially for a second, the second part of the symbiote moved quickly to Storm's boot, assuming it perfectly.

Now armed with two potential hosts, all the symbiote needed to do was kill time until they were in a position to take control...
