Stories from the OZ Refugee Program

Tom let out a big sigh as he sat down at his desk. After what has already been a 14 hour work day, coffee was the only thing keeping him going and he was just starting on his third cup. As he looked at the family photo of him with his mother, older brother, and younger twin sisters, he knew his 60+ hour work weeks would soon pay off.

Tom was one of many Orphan-status people working at Pearson on the Oedipal Zone Refugee Program project. When his older brother died in a horrific car accident, it shocked the whole family. It also left the family without an alpha. This project was the answer to finding a way to protect his family. Once he successfully placed a tenth family in the Refugee Program, Tom would be rewarded with Alpha status.

Tom had found his tenth family: after today's shift, everything should be set up for that family to move into their new home. Tom put his mug down and lifted up the manila folder detailing that family.
