Stories by Javalar (Game mode)

The librarian raises an eyebrow. "Oh, you are interested in stories which are made to... play?"

She whispers the last word in a more than sensual sort of way, closes her eyes and hums softly.

"I am not sure exactly what that means", you answer, looking around the BDSM section. Is that a hook over there at one of those shelves? And isn't that a short chain dangling from the ceiling? What are those for? And... you narrow your eyes... there are some props leaning and standing in the darker corner of the section. You can't really make out what these are, but they almost look like canes, whips and paddles. Why would a library need...?

"Oh!", the librarian interrupts your thoughts and grants you a wicked smile. "Let me explain: There are different types of stories here at the CHYOA library. Some stories are very linear, they follow mostly one path, with very few branches. This can make for interesting reading, but it's more or less like a normal book. Then there are those stories which branch off a lot, offering quite a divers array of storylines within one story. But each branch basically starts its own story, never returning to the one before, although what happens might be connected to other branches. And then, there are the GAME MODE stories. Those have one main plot and story line, but use conditions, variables and character stats to sometimes **** you into a certain path. What you choose to do earlier in the story might influence and determine some your choices later. Moreover, some of those stories try to avoid loose ends, so whatever you do, you will always return to the main plot and the main storyline, it might just look different, depending on your choices before. That's one of the main characteristics of Javalar's stories."

"Interesting", you say, surprised by this sudden surge of words.

"Javalar as an author is especially interested in creating that feeling of helplessness which comes from having decided something earlier. His topics often consequently deal with submission, with a certain kind of corruption, where characters are slowly drawn into...", she opens one of the buttons of her blouse, "lust, desire, arousal...", and then another button, "but also into bondage, submission, stimulation and excitement against their will. He loves to include themes like lingerie, sex toys and all kinds of restraints..."

You suddenly become aware that the librarian is wearing a leather harness under her blouse.

"I must admit I find those stories quite... inspirational. Do you want me to have a look which stories we have here...?"
