Stop back at the Partisan headquarters

The trip back to headquarters is a cheerful one. We all wear smiles on our faces. It feels good to win one for once, and none of us have seen a mission executed so flawlessly in a long time. We didn’t take a single casualty. Our new allies have already earned the respect of every one of us. I walk right past Fedorov’s office with a confident smirk on my face. He can’t take advantage of me anymore.

We take a moment to go through the extensive bounty that we stole from the enemy. I’m not sure why exactly they needed it, but I’m happy that we have it. There is quite a bit of firepower packed into that bag. We have the potential to do some real damage.

Clarke and I decide to keep our encounter a secret, and try not to act so comfortable with each other, though we do steal glances at one another from time to time. He tells us that we’re leaving for a destination tomorrow, a destination which remains undisclosed to us. It bothers me that they don’t fully trust us, but I understand their secrecy. Their mission must be very important.

We all get some well deserved rest, and in the morning, we prepare to depart.
