"No, separating means they can pick us off easier. We stick together."

Asami gave her approval of the plan, and they were off.

Mowing through floors of enemies grew quite tiring on the both of them. Once they had made it to the twenty third floor, they had stopped to grab a drink of water. Korra lifted a bubble out of ocean, making sure to shake all the salt out of it before serving. Once they sipped their glasses, they realized what was directly in front of them: a gigantic wooden door, coated in beautiful paintings of dragons. A clear mockery of the Fire Lord's palace. "Well, that has to be it."

Kicking down the door revealed a long hallway, at the end of which sat Takana in an oversized throne decorated with skulls and animal furs. Korra demanded answers. "Where is Bolin?" The mock king laughed. "Don't worry, he's not in danger. I only needed him to lure you here. Now, you're right where I want you." Korra stood her ground. "I'm not afraid of you." Takana chuckled. "You think you can take me? You're not even wearing pants!" Korra looked down, dismayed to find the baggy pants Asami lent her had fallen to the ground. She refastened them tighter with a belt, then prepared a fire fist, charging at the man.
