Stick to the plan

As you were taking time debating all the different choices you could take, your dad was starting to get a little impatient. “Well, aren’t you gonna do it?” He huffs at you in a frustrated tone.

Sighing, you roll your eyes as you get the sharpie on his arm. “Yes, I will. Alright...” you say. Feeling a little pressured and not having enough time to properly think through the alternatives, you resort to marking “Ashley’s” on his arm. Once your sister’s name is signed onto his body, you let off a little smirk as you pat him on the shoulder.

With his attention grabbed, it doesn’t take long for your dad to notice the writing you just did on his arm. “Oh, that’s interesting...” he murmurs

“What is?” You ask him, pretending to not know what he’s talking about.

“Here.” He says as he brings up his arm for the two of you to have a good look at, Ashley’s name slapped on it “So apparently your sister owns me...I almost forgot about that.”

“Yeah, so did I...” You mutter, staring at the writing as you nod your head. Even it wasn’t your name that was marked, you were still immune to its hypnotic effects as you were the one who wrote it and in turn had to pretend that what’s written is reality.

Of course, it doesn’t take long before he gets up and makes his way over to the door. He would’ve even made it through had Ashley not chose that moment to come downstairs and enter the room herself.

“Hey, loser...” she groans as she looks at you, making you stick your tongue out at her. She then turns to your dad and her face turns more positive, not yet noticing anything off about him “Hey, dad. So Joel just called me and wanted to know if he can come over here next week...can he?”

This made you roll your eyes. It had been a while since she last brought someone over, but even when she did you had to excuse yourself from the house a few times. Dealing with Ashley was bad enough, but with her friends in the same area? It’s basically hell through and through.

Luckily, compared to most of them, Joel is actually pretty decent. Probably not the guy you’d hang out with yourself, but he’s still a nice enough man. So him possibly coming over wasn’t the problem...

Joel has been Ashley’s boyfriend for the past year, though the truth is that she hasn’t exactly been treating him fairly and is only in a relationship with to boost her popularity.

“Of course, Ashley.” Your father grins at her, standing before her in an attention pose “If you want him over, then you can have him over.”

As you protest at this, Ashley smirks at you “Suck it, crybaby!” She then exclaims in vile glee, but it’s a bit after that she DOES find something off about dad.

No, it’s not that he’s ignored her insulting you. That’s actually pretty normal. If anything, it had something to do with the next words to come out of his mouth...

“Erik is your brother, though.” He points out “I’ll suck his dick if you want me to, but this will be wrong on so many levels.”
