Steve

You decide to sit next to Steve, mostly because you figure you two could be friends for real, and you just want to not make Jess mad.

You quickly strike a conversation with Steve, asking him about his tattoo and why he liked that game so much. While the sudden attention from a "girl" is for sure stressing Steve out, the subject quickly places him in his environment.

While you two are geeking out, Jake, realizing he didn't have much of a chance with you, starts hitting on Jess instead, leaving Adam as the odd one out.

Right as Steve was telling you about his favorite anime, you hear Jake suggest you all go back to Adam and Steve's place to order food. The two of them are roommates, and have a nice place to hang out. As you were curious about his manga collection, you quickly agree, not realizing what it looked like to the other people.

Some time later, you all reached their place. It's a small 2 bedroom apartment, with a kitchen, dining room and living room. Jake and Jess headed for the couch, from which they ordered food for everyone. Once the food arrived, Adam, who was feeling alone and in the way, promptly disappeared in his bedroom with his food.

After browsing his manga collection for a while, Steve and you decided to play a fighting game. As you two were fighting it out, Jess decided to spike things up a bit. "How about a bet?" She said. "Loser has to sit on the lap of the winner."

"That sounds du-" you begin to say, but Jake cuts you off. "Ah! I'm sure Steve would agree to that. He's a BEAST!"

You blush at the realization. You're not sure which would be worse. You sitting on his lap, or him sitting on yours.
