Steve catches up with David at the end of the day

David was happy that, at least for the rest of the workday, Destiny got “back in her cage” so he could at least focus on work and ignoring that wretched taste that was, at this point, stained into his mouth.

David was walking down the hallway towards the exit of the building when he heard Steve yell out from behind him, “Hey! David! Wait up!”

David tried to pretend like he didn’t hear him. Steve’s apparent infatuation with Destiny was very troubling. He couldn’t say how, but every bad feeling David had these past few days(has it really only been a few days?! ) had 100% been justified.

“David!” Steve yelled louder while jogging to catch up with David, “couldn’t you hear me?”

“Sorry...I just have a lot on my mind,”

“Look man, I just wanted to apologize between getting in between you and Destiny. It wasn’t my place and you two have your own thing going on. And I have to respect that.”

“Oh...” David replied just trying to get through the conversation, “good. Yeah. No problem.”

“And I want to make it up to you.”

“You don’t have to do-“

“I want to take you two out for dinner,” Steve interrupted him, “we’ll make a double date of it. You bring Destiny and I’ll bring Janice.”

David felt a chill run down his spine when he felt his dick twitch. Destiny must’ve heard that...

“Really, you don’t have to do that. Destiny and I are more homebodies, we really don’t like going out.”

“Nonsense. I want to do it. Please, just promise me you’ll talk to her about it.”

“Great!” Steve said, “see you tomorrow!” Before leaving.

David looked down at Destiny- erect.

“You know we’re doing that,” she said.
