Stealthy

You walk over to her, and start by carefully extricating her bra from under her clothes. She appears to have an aversion to straps, which at least makes your job a little bit easier, and you slide the piece of underwear off of her breasts and out from beneath her shirt. Her underpants are a bit trickier on account of having to remove her pants first, but you manage to get them off, slide her panties down her legs and off her feet, and then put her pants back in place.

You pocket her underwear, grinning to yourself, your groin throbbing slightly, and then walk over to the chair on the opposite side of the table. When you suddenly appear in the room, Evellyn snaps to attention. She doesn't seem to notice the missing underwear, probably because of the sudden movement she made by herself when she jolted upright.

"So, did you find her?" She asks.

"It took me a while, but I did."

"Go on, don't leave me in suspense..."

"It wasn't her. It seemed a long shot anyway."

She looks pensively for a moment. "So what's the next lead? You mentioned there's a troupe of elves nearby?"

"Yeah, they're probably camping in the forests outside the city. Elves are stealthy, magical, and never particularly inclined to respect human boundaries or 'keep out' signs, so I figure they're worth a look as potential suspects.

"Well then, l think we should go look for them straight away, no time to lose."

She's being very direct, you're feeling somewhat ambushed, "'We', what do you mean 'we'?"

She leans forward, one arm leaning on the table, eyes gleaming with intent. "I'm coming with you this time. I'm not useless or a burden, I'm a trained soldier, I can be helpful!"

"Didn't I tell you I prefer to ply my tra-"

She cuts you off with a wave of her hand "-ply your hobby in peace, yes, yes, yes, I remember. Just suck it up. You're such a show-off I'm sure you can stomach at least one person watching."
