Madeline had crept into the Goodsprings general store with ease. Even with everyone supposedly on edge. She had waited until it was dark and moved among the shadows. The wooden floors creaked under her light tread, but it was late and the careless merchant was fast asleep.
She grabbed a large number of caps, and caps worth of gear in a small satchel. Every bit of gear she could take from the citizens of Goodsprings was one less piece of gear they could use against the Gangers.
