Stay together

As you ride up to the edge of the forest, Evellyn cocks her head, looking towards you expectantly.

"So.. are you gonna do that thing you do? Run through the forest really fast, find them in a few seconds, do something perverted?"

She knows you so well.

"Well yeah, I could, that last thing included, but it's not that simple. My perception is sped up too. I'd still have to walk back and forth canvassing the entire forest."

"So you're saying we should split up to cover more ground?"

You ponder.

"No, I think that'd be too dangerous. You never know with elven troupes, they're as likely to approach you for friendly trade as they are to shoot you on sight."

"I guess it's gonna be a long search then."

"Seems like it."

Evellyn nudges her horse and starts riding forward at a slow trot, taking a direction at random of the various branches ahead of the splitting path, and enters the shadow beneath the boughs of the forest. Your horse dutifully follows.
