Stay in the car

You peer at the abandoned house doubtfully, then shake your head.

"Looks pretty creepy. I'd be scared some horror movie slasher would come jumping out of a closet," you laugh. Jack shrugs and grins, chuckling with you.

"I'll keep the car running and run the heater, at least we can keep warm and you can dry out a little. I'm going to find some jeans to put on."

When you left you dressed for the sunny weather at the time, in a buttoned short sleeved shirt and a pair of tight mini-shorts, and your legs are starting to feel a bit chilled. You kneel on the front seat and bend over to look in your bag, searching for some jeans.

There aren't any. You think back to when you hurriedly packed, remembering that you laid out a pair on your bed. You must have forgotten to put them in your bag. Clicking your tongue in annoyance, you search your bag again, then bend over further to see if they might have fallen on the floor. No such luck. You turn and sit forwards again. You notice that Jack turned his eyes away with a certain furtiveness and realized that he was probably checking out your ass as you bent over the seat. Well, he isn't the first guy to do that, you smile to yourself.
