You decide to stay in Gotham and check out what is happening here. You wanted to follow Batman to see who he was chasing but when you turned back to see him he was already gone.
You were disappointed that you missed out on seeing Batman chasing a villain in person but your disappointment didn't last long because you saw someone you wanted to possess and you started to go in their direction.
