Chapter 29 by Damos

Their decision

Stay here

“We would like you to stay here, she needs help and family want to see you! We will have a feast honouring you overthrowing Zeus and another honouring you as a deity to the humans you have helped” Poseidon spoke Hades and Persephone’s smiles soon faded when they saw the disgust in his eyes, “James?” spoke which caused him to burst in fury, “My name is Tristhet! I don’t want any fucking festivals! I don’t care if they “make it up with family” because fuck it you didn’t help me for the 40 years prior and now in your selfishness you have sentenced 100’s of people to death and/or into Hela’s care, she will torture them let the grief consume them because burning their bodies so they can’t walk among the realms anymore!” “Jam... Tristhet if it’s too much to ask!” Cersei stuttered which caused him to silence her with, “How many more people will die for the Lannister name, even in death you are killing people. Okay, fine. I’ll stay! But they deserve compensation; those who die under your orders deserve something!” Persephone modded before offering, “We have your old horse; Philippa is waiting for you, maybe a wolf to give you company. What else?” the others nodded but shaking his head he stated coldly, “For every human that dies one Isu member dies by my choosing and by the feeling I am getting it’s time to kill the first!” he drew his sword before slicing Hephaestus’ head off spoke, “One down many more to go!”

It was only now people started to realise how vital Tristhet was, they called the following days the “Massacre of Olympus” after week one 200 lay dead, by the end of the first month almost a quarter of the Isu were being buried, women were impregnated regularly claiming that he would be technically killing two people not one of they died, he simply waited for two deaths and slew them, the pressure built on Athena began to grow worse until break through after three months there were signs of improvement and Tristhet claimed she was almost ready.

Tristhet looked down at the letter from his greatest friend as he read the bold grim text until Persephone with Hades slamming their fists down on the table snapped, “Thánatos and Hekate! Who’s next? Us?” he looked up at them before drinking his tankard spoke, “100 neglected babies dead, 220 young boys dead for trivial reason, 230, young girls from abuse. You think I care about your friends? I could have saved 80% of them if I wasn’t here. Every death is my fault!” “Tristhet it isn’t!” “Isn’t it? I could have, no I should have said no but my feelings for her wouldn’t allow it! Now almost 2,000 have been sacrificed for Hela instead of helping Hela!” he sighed before grumbling, “Maybe I should have married her; maybe then I could have worn her down” he looked down once more as he spoke, “I wasn’t wanted here and now the only thing I existed for I’ve failed in!” “Do you need to go back?” he nodded before stating bluntly, “Should have gone back three months ago! Doesn’t matter now I’ll just try and fix the mess!” “We’ll come with you and help!” “And do what? You can’t do what I can!” they looked down guilty at what had transpired before Hades spoke, “That’s why you are doing it, isn’t it? A life for a life to show how selfish people are, our choices are being punished!” he nodded before stating coldly, “And we have to live with them or we will lose ourselves!” “We will find a way to make it up to you!” “It’s too late now. Their souls and corpses will be mangled beyond recognition and will simply need to be put down after what Hela has done to them!”

When the time came Athena went to war with the demon, using what she had learned from Tristhet against the “Grief” and in slaying it, re-established her dominance over her emotions, the only thing left was for Tristhet to heal the broken fragments of her memories. When she awoke she jumped up with life that she thought was gone and the energy to hug everyone even though she still felt the sadness inside her trying to nibble at her but this was to be expected, with her exposure it would take time to completely break free, “Tristhet I...” her grin faded to see him freeze reading a note Charon had handed him, “Is this?” Charon nodded before comforting his friend spoke, “Hela... she didn’t know what she was doing; her men which were intended for Ragnarök destroyed everything, the people you were tracking are dead and the place trashed! It was the only way they could stop them” “3,000 dead by her hand and those who were waiting for me also dead, everything destroyed!” he fell to his knees before taking an breath squashed the note up and threw it along the floor as Charon stated, “The humans despise you, they see you as an monster and no longer a protector; you know what that means...” “I will be locked away by Odin!” “Luckily for you, Hela is explaining the situation!” “She’s not going to take the bullet for me!” “My friend said Loki got a deal passed, they will monitor your actions; everything has to be squeaky clean and you can’t nick people off Hela to help them; if they aren’t going to you then you have to leave them!” “With what is currently happening I will have no one anyway! Maybe I should have gone tranquil because I currently feel worse then I ever did” he got to his feet before sighing defeated spoke, “I should go these problems won’t solve themselves!” “Tristhet stay for a drink!” Persephone urged but shaking his head Tristhet spoke, “Drinking doesn’t help me. Look...errr... I think I won’t be able to see any of you for a very long time so goodbye and maybe farewell!” “What do you mean?” Athena asked, “I’ll be in lockdown whilst being assessed then eventually will be allowed to leave on small trips or could be locked away if Odin seems it necessary!” “Regretting it?” Hades questioned and nodding Tristhet spoke, “For what? Athena and a wolf pup... the worst deal ever! All because I still felt something for her” Athena looked down before nodding spoke, “Again you have lost out! Do you need anything? Can we help?” “No, you’ll only make it worse, I’ll think of something” “Tristhet; I’ll take you!” “Thanks Charon, my only friend” he nodded as he said, “Just give me some time to get ready!” Tristhet nodded seeing the wolf pup lay asleep in its container as he spoke, “I hope you were worth it!”

The night sky engulfed Elysium and the rough seas was clearly an attempt by Poseidon to keep him there longer possibly on the request of Persephone or Hades even though they wouldn’t admit it but it wouldn’t stop Tristhet’s return, Hades and Persephone stood back bidding him goodbye whilst Cersei refused to say goodbye mourning her unborn children’s death by Tristhet’s (their father’s) hands. “We will try and help you in anyway possible son!” Hades spoke full knowing this promise was never going to be fulfilled, “We should leave!” Charon stated and nodding Tristhet stated to both his adopted parents, “I will see you again; I don’t know when or how, but I will once again!” Persephone nodded guiding him to the boat it was then when they stopped seeing the hooded woman who used the hood to hide her identity from prying eyes with only a small bag in her hand, “Athena?!” she nodded before smiling spoke, “Yes Tristhet!” “Why are you here?” she stepped forward before taking his hand spoke, “You’re right about what you have done for me and this mess you are in, it isn’t yours to contend with; it’s OURS. Zeus is gone and I intend too use it” his red eyes looked into her brown ones as he spoke, “I can’t guarantee you security because I don’t know what comes next...” “It doesn’t matter, we’ll face it together; I have journals to study Helheim and OUR problems to take care of. Well that and...” she trailed off to grope his cock, “We have things to discovery as well!” he looked at Persephone and Hades who nodding to encourage them to go Tristhet’s mouth opened as Athena opened her jacket, “Ready lover?”
