Stay covered

Chapter 2 by ManRayMansker ManRayMansker

You stay where you are, the thin sheet still draped across your hips, and simply point toward the chair in the corner. A small pile of clothes sits there—jeans, a couple of T-shirts, a pair of boxers half-buried under the rest.

“Over there,” you say. Your voice comes out a little rougher than you intended.

Your sister gives a short nod and steps fully into the room. The door remains open behind her. She moves with the same unhurried confidence she always has around the house, picking up the basket again and carrying it over to the chair. You watch her from the bed, keeping the sheet carefully in place.

She bends to gather the clothes. As she does, the edge of the sheet shifts slightly with your breathing, exposing more of your bare thigh. Without looking at your face she reaches over with one hand and tugs the fabric higher, covering the skin again in a single casual motion.

“Can’t have the little guy surprise us now, can we?” she says, the words light and almost offhand.

The comment lands harder than it should. Heat crawls up the back of your neck. You feel your cock twitch once under the sheet, more from the sudden attention than anything else. She doesn’t glance down to check the result. She simply continues collecting the laundry—jeans, shirts, the boxers—dropping each item into the basket with efficient little movements.

“You’re lucky I’m even doing this,” she adds, straightening up. “Most of this stuff smells like you slept in it for a week.”

You stay quiet. The sheet feels thinner than it did a minute ago. Her earlier remark sits between you both, casual enough that it could be nothing, sharp enough that it doesn’t feel like nothing.

She finishes with the chair and looks around the room once more. Her eyes pass over the nightstand, the open laptop, the edge of the bed where your hip creates a small tent under the fabric. She doesn’t comment again. Instead she adjusts the basket against her hip and turns toward the door.

“I’m putting everything on cold,” she says. “If something shrinks, that’s on you.”

The word “shrinks” hangs in the air a second longer than necessary. You can’t tell if she chose it on purpose.

She pauses at the doorway and glances back. “You planning on getting up anytime soon, or are you just going to stay in bed all morning?”

There’s no real demand in the question, only the same half-bored curiosity she had when she first walked in. The house is still quiet downstairs. No one else is moving yet. The moment remains private.

You could stay exactly where you are, let her leave with the laundry, and deal with the leftover heat under the sheet by yourself. Or you could say something back—deflect, tease, push a little—to see how far the comment about the “little guy” will stretch.

She waits another beat, one eyebrow slightly raised.

“Well?”

Your phone buzzes again on the nightstand, the screen lighting up with another notification you haven’t checked. The anonymous emails from earlier are still sitting unread. The video you watched last night is still closed on the laptop. All of it feels closer now that the room smells faintly of her detergent and the laundry basket is full of your clothes.

She shifts her weight, ready to go.

What do you do?

Stay silent and wave her off. Let her leave with the laundry while you stay under the sheet. Once the door closes, deal with the half-hard problem she left behind—and maybe open that new email while you do it.

Answer her. Something light, something that acknowledges the “little guy” remark without fully challenging it. Keep the conversation going and see whether she stays longer or pushes the teasing further.

Sit up a little higher against the headboard, still covered, and ask if she noticed anything else that needs washing. Keep the power dynamic quiet and passive for now, but leave the door open for whatever she decides to say next.
