Stay calm and figure this out

Zoey felt her breath catch in her chest, and watched as Gemma copied her shock in the mirror. Leaning in Gemma leaned towards her as well. She brought a finger to her cheek and low and behold Gemma gladly followed suit.

"I- you- So that's.... me" She said, half whispering to herself. "Ok, ok... The last thing that'll help is panicking. Now how the hell did this happen?!"

As she asked herself this she replayed the last minute that had just gone by. It was obvious that flash had caused it, but how? All she was doing was admiring that new necklace when-

"That's it!" She shouted, seeming out of character for the quiet Gemma. Turning to the mirror Zoey saw that the necklace had ended up sliding under Gemma's sweater during the fal and her panicked search. With a single finger she pulled it out to the front and inspected it's reflection.

She was not sure what she had been expecting, probably for it to be glowing brightly to indicate her presence. In all honesty if anyone had seen the gem now they would assume it was just a regular pendant with a green gem set into. However, having seen what it had been before Zoey was well aware that it had undergone a change.

"Yes!" She cheered herself, once again causing the reflection of her friend to act counter to how it normally would. "So, I figured out how this all happened.... now what?"

The first thing that came to mind was getting out of her friend. What she was doing was the mother of all privacy invasions! But how would she manage that? Was it as simple as willing herself out? Or maybe removing the necklace?
