Stay and cry like a little baby

Kanami felt tears in her eyes well up. She wanted to get up, but instead she started crying just there.

“Now what is this?”, asked the witch. “While you should shed tears of gratitude that your punishment is this light, I doubt that is the case.”

“It's not fair!” Kanami cried out. “Anything I try, I screw up! I hate this! I hate this!” She said sneezing while sitting in a puddle of her own waste. It was truly a pathetic sight.

The witch witnessed this spectacle for quite a long time, since it didn't look like Kanami would get up she finally sighed and spoke. “I suppose it would be difficult for you to finish anything in this current state. Very well, I shall provide you salvation.”

“You will acho...take these things acho away?” Kanami started pushing her nose again in hope.

“Perish the thought, I am of a mind to grant you employment in my services. What do you think?”

“E-employment? But you are a Witch!”

“Yes”, Beatrice said annoyed. “Even a Witch of my caliber has need for hired help. And these Banberas have a dreadful union behind them.”

“What would you have me do?”

“I would employ you as my personal Ninja. I will provide you with food and a place to stay. As for payment. I grant you five Silver per day.”

“Five silver! That's barely anything! I want at least 7!”

“3, that's my final offer.”

“Alright fine, Three!” Kanami sighed, happy that she could have at least put her haggle skills to good use. “What do I need to do?”

“For now, I believe a bath is in order. Mr. Bone.”

A spooky scary Skeleton appeared.

“Escort our new employer to the hot springs.”

Kanami followed the Skeleton trough the castle. He wasn't very talkative, but that was just fine for Kanami. She really didn't want to talk in her current state.

Eventually the two exited into a large outdoor bathing area. It looked spectacular. Mr. Bone politely excused herself, leaving Kanami to her devices.

Kanami didn't need another invitation, she shed herself out of the soiled clothes and quickly stepped into the hot water.

“Haaaaaaa!”

That felt amazing! Kanami never experienced such bliss! She sneezed and pushed her nose back up. Granted that was still annoying. As was her other bodily afflictions, but surely she would be able to convince her mistress to get rid of them right? After all they would greatly impair her work!

Kanami stared up at the full moon and let out a pleasant sigh. Ah this was nice. She slowly closed her eyes and dozed off.

Mr. Bones would later found Kanami floating lifeless in the water and performed emergency CPR at her, saving her life.
