The latex infection keeps spreading, but the bite marks are still visibly darker. Maybe it's like a snake bite and you can suck the stuff out! It's a long shot, but better than doing nothing.

Lowering your mouth to the bite mark on his shoulder, you start sucking as hard as you can. you feel something starting to drip out - it must be working - so you keep at it. The changes seem to stop as you do, slowly falling back as you suck the "poison" from his body, retreating inch by inch... and then suddenly shooting back to where you're sucking when the trickle in your mouth turns to a hose, latex blasting into it in an instant.

You manage to stop sucking before it gets down your throat, but before you can spit it out it seems to completely coat your tongue and use it to stay inside. You feel it rolling and sloshing about in there and, worried that it'll still manage to run down your throat, you try spitting harder. This time it comes out, but not like you expect - instead of a solid chunk, it comes out as a sort of cord; instead of purple, it's a light pink; and perhaps most disturbing, it looks less like a shapeless latex blob and more like some weird... tongue?

When you try to close your mouth you realize that the latex IS a tongue as you feel a sharp pain from biting into it. Apparently, it didn't just attach to your tongue, it changed it, and now forms a new tongue that's around two feet in length and, from the looks of it, belongs on an anteater.

Remembering the man, you look at him and see that your own minor transformation wasn't just random. Some of the latex stayed in him and has again started to spread, and with your tongue being far too long to fit in your mouth there's no way you could suck it out now. You'll either have to think of something else or run away before he completes his metamorphosis.
