Start with the pair in the library

Blake and Ren quickly made their way to the library, where they began to look over their books.

"Hm... What do you think Port's lesson today was actually supposed to be about?" Ren inquired, seemingly in deep thought.

"I'm... Not sure?" Blake replied "A lot of it seemed like rambling to me. But the combat must have had some point, right?"

Ren stroked his chin.

"I'm not too sure. Professor Port seems like the type of person who doesn't have a rhyme or reason to what he does... Perhaps I'm wrong though. Still, he assigned homework."

"Which has nothing to do with what we covered in class" Blake sighed.

Ren gave her a slight smile.

"I suppose that's true. What do you think for question one?"

Blake looked down at it.

"What is the best way to defend against Beowolf attacks?"

Blake scrunched her face, as she tried coming up with an answer.

Time continued on, as the two kept bouncing answers off one another. Blake lucked out with this. The person she was assigned to was not only intelligent and helpful, but she also wasn't required to get information from him. Simply to distract him while the rest of his team was removed.

As they finished their studies and Blake stood to leave, Ren spoke up.

"Mind if I ask you something?"

Blake turned back to face him.

"I've been wondering this whole time. Why did you invite me here?"

Blake didn't quite get what he meant at first, but it quickly dawned on her.

Ren wanted to know if she was showing interest in him... Or if she was just looking for homework help.

Either one could be used later to separate him from the group. But Blake would have to play this carefully...
