Star City with Black Canary

The next day you find yourself back in Watchtower less than a week after the last time you were here. This time you're accompanied by Cyborg. It seems like he is in charge of multi-hero missions on the west coast. This is the first time you've met him, and he is imposing to say the least. Shining stainless steel adorns the vast majority of his body, with his only natural skin being around his left eye on his head. His other eye isn't there, rather, a large red targeting reticule that gives him thermal vision and who knows what else.

"So, this is my mission to determine both my deployment as well as my power level?"

"Correct, though more of the former rather than the latter." His booming voice gives him authority beyond his years, and you implicitly trust his judgment. "As someone with no current home, we will station you in a city that will best utilize your skill set. We have a good idea on your current power level, so this mission will not require a large amount of power. That is also reflected with your partner."

"And that would be me." You turn towards the entrance to the room and see another stunning heroine. It's Black Canary, and you wonder if it's something the Justice League puts in the water to make their women so damn hot. Long blonde hair descends from her head, cascading like a waterfall. She's wearing a black latex outfit that resembles a one piece swimsuit more than strictly necessary. Black gloves cover her hands and extend nearly to her elbows. A simple mask adorns her face, covering the area around her eyes in a pair of dark diamonds. She's holding a long bo staff in one hand, and you have to assume that she expertly knows how to use it. And lastly, like Zatanna, black fishnets crisscross her legs, most assuredly accentuating rather than hiding.

"Then I suppose we're headed to Star City, are we not?" you posit. One of the crowning jewels of the Pacific Northwest, Star City had mild weather year-round typical to the region. It had a decent tourism industry, as well as what you thought was the stupidest name in all of sports: The Star City Stars.

"Correct." Cyborg confirms. "The Green Arrow is occupied tonight and so the two of you will deal a local gang that has rapidly expanded its territory over the past couple weeks."

"Yep. Olly is busy with a mayoral event tonight and a new gang has hit the streets, dispatching rival gangs with ruthless efficiency. It'll be our job to take out the leadership of the gang."

You nod at Canary's words, and head back to the teleporter. While walking there, you note how well the artificial gravity is; you would never guess that you were on the moon at all. While you're deep in thought, Black Canary catches up to you to formally introduce herself.

"So, I'm Black Canary, if you didn't know. Call me Laurel, though, but only use it when we're up here." You nod at that, it seemed like standard operating procedure for all superheroes at this point. "I'm looking forward to this mission with you. I've heard excellent things from both Batgirl and Zatanna."

You miss a step, and struggle to regain your natural gait. Did Dinah know about your escapades with Zatanna? Or was she purely referring to the missions you went on. Was it possible that Black Canary was one of the rumored size queens that Zatanna talked about? At the moment, you had no way of knowing.

The three of you reach the teleporter, a nifty device that allows ease of transportation between Watchtower and a wide number of locations on Earth, including just about every major American city.

"Alright," Cyborg says, "You'll portal down a couple blocks from the rumored location of what is being called the Redfist gang. It'll be your job to infiltrate into the inner sanctum, and incapacitate the leader of the gang. Defend yourself adequately, because these thugs will be shooting to kill."

You nod in response, and without further ado, Black Canary and you are heading down to Star City.
