Stacking blocks? Now that's exciting television!

A horn blows and the four ladies begin the competition. Ellie gets off to a fast start, using her athleticism to gain a lead in the first few passes. Isabel is a close behind, taking extra time each pass to make sure her stack is steady. Danielle and Victoria are third and fourth, respectively in the early portion of the challenge. Both ladies were wearing high heels when they entered the house, and while Danielle took hers off before the competition started, Victoria is still wearing hers, slowing her down slightly.

Halfway into the competition, Ellie is still in the lead, though she's had to slow down as her stack has gotten taller to make sure it doesn't topple. Isabel fell a few blocks behind Ellie but she is now starting to close the gap. That extra time she spent making a stable base is starting to pay off. Danielle is now two blocks ahead of Victoria, but she's starting to get winded. Victoria takes a moment, sees that she's losing, and finally ditches her shoes to try and beat Danielle.

With 30 seconds remaining, Ellie and Isabel are now tied. Their towers are now taller than Isabel can reach, forcing her to use the staircase on the end of her lane to continue stacking. Ellie's height advantage allows her to stay on the ground, but her tower is dangerously close to falling over. The race for last is also close, with Victoria now less than one lap behind Danielle, whose pace has slowed considerably due to her fatigue. Victoria decides to go for broke trying to overtake her opponent before the time runs out, but in her rush she accidentally knocks her tower over, all but guaranteeing that she'll come in last.

With 20 seconds left, Isabel's tower is solid and she decides to make one more lap while Ellie is stuck in place trying to fix her shaky tower. Isabel manages to stack her final block just in the nick of time, winning the competition by the narrowest of margins over Ellie. Danielle comes in third, and Victoria winds up as the first Have-Not of the summer. After congratulating Isabel on her victory, the camera cuts back to Julie Chen as she transitions into a commercial break.
