What's next?

Spoiler Alert.

It's some time later that Shania, having regained her powers of speech, turns to you and asks, "So why did you make mentorship affect only women?"

It's a fair question. And your answer, upon reflection, is...

"It honestly never occurred to me to make it affect men. Greedy I guess".

"Really?" she asks, surprised. "You had told me that finding a way to make mentorship give the same benefits to men was... an ongoing desire..."

"You have to remember, mentorship didn't even affect women when I wrote this as an old rule," you say, "The world I dreamed this change up in was pretty different. So that's why I went into bioengineering?" You reflect. Yup, that's why. You always did dream big.

Carefully, you take out the rulebook and write:

NEW RULE: MEN GAIN THE SAME BENEFITS FROM GIVING MENTORSHIP AS WOMEN GAIN FROM RECEIVING IT.

You look up. The world looks the same, but you somehow feel that the future will be even better.

Author's note: if you feel this ending is premature or unsatisfying, so do I. There were many more lewd adventures I wanted to send our hero on, with this always being the intended destination of his story. However, inspiration comes and goes, and it may be some time before I pick up this setting again. This is intended to be a side branch that skips much of the character development of the main story - a TL;DR as it were.
