"I'd help if I could," Kate replied.

Kurits and Kate laughed. "Sorry. We'll keep the flirting down."

By now Kurits had the legbinder all the way up his legs and to his waist, and he was starting to buckle the straps.

The second tile puzzle didn't take any longer than the first one, thanks to Vanessa's trick. The complexity of the puzzle was also not as bad as the previous one, so the two girls didn't have too much trouble, to Alex's surprise.

The tile puzzle slid open just like the first, revealing another alcove. Alex reached into it, just as she had before. And gripped a restraint.

She pulled out a latex hood.

As the two women were deciding how to continue, the third tile puzzle appeared. They both looked towards each other.

Alex knew the rules. Once they found a restraint, they had to immediately apply it. She stood up and tried to find Vanessa again.

Vanessa, on the other hand, knew what she needed to do. She couldn't waste too much time, but she needed to memorize the puzzle. It had less tiles than the previous two they'd already solved, but would still take some time to solve. Luckily, the pictures had always been simple pictures, and this one was the same, and was what Vanessa suspected would end up as an eye of Horus.

But Alex had got better at finding her way around blindly, and she managed to strike Vanessa with her palm. Vanessa thought it best to not fight and make Alex think that she was in distress, so stood still while Alex slid behind her to line up the hood.

Vanessa only had another second before Alex pulled the hood over her face. The light went out completely. Alex started working on the copious number of laces along the back of the hood. To make it easier for her, the laces were already threaded through the holes, and Alex just had to pull each set tight.

As the hood got tighter and tighter, Vanessa told herself that she needed to keep the tile layout in her memory and not get distracted by the feel of the hood. But it felt too good.

Alex finished pulling the laces, and pulled the attached collar together, then finished by looping the open padlock through the D- ring and closing it.
