Spiritualist Abilities

In Merged Spirit Form, a spiritualist can access multiple abilities. These abilities are classified in several ways-

1-They can be classified by what they do. The classifications like this are Attack, Defense, Buff, Heal, and Control. Attack abilities attack enemies. Defense abilities provide shields that can defend against attacks. Buff abilities increases one's physical abilities, including but not limited to strength, speed, endurance, stamina, durability, and magic power.

2-They can be classified as active, passive, and toggle. An active ability is activated and then used, like a fireball. A passive ability is always active given the conditions are met. For example, a tiger spirit may give increased offensive abilities to a wielder who has been in combat for an extended period of time. Toggle abilities are things that last overtime, like passive abilities, but rather than having to meet conditions, the wielder can decide whether or not they are active or not at will. The drawback is that the abilities expend magical power while being used.

3-They can be classified as regular, elite, ultimate, or unique. Most abilities are regular. If an ability is not elite, ultimate, or unique, it is regular. Elite abilities are stronger than regular abilities, but share the same name as regular abilities. They will be usable be people who merge with rare versions of spirits. For example, all tree spirits may grant the Binding Root ability, an ability which binds one person for a few seconds with a chance of success based on the power of each spiritualist. However, a spiritualist may get a particularly rare or powerful tree spirit, which grants an elite Binding Root ability, capable of binding several people for an indefinite of time until they can muster the strength to break out. A unique ability is an ability that only one kind of spirit grants, and no other spirit can grant. For example, if an ability could only be granted by a Northern Gust wind elemental spirit, it would be a unique ability. Ultimate abilities are like Unique abilities-however, each spirit has an ultimate ability. They can only be obtained upon receiving True Perfection with a spirit, and are the last resort of a spirit.
