Spirits

Spirits come from the Realm of Spirits. They are capable of communicating in English (the language spoken by the entirety of the remaining world after the Great Magic War), but have their own language to.

Spirits are humanoid, and have the same 3 genders humans do. However, Futanaris are much more rare among the spirits-only 1 in 25 spirits will be a futa.

Spirits come in great physical diversity, ranging from 2 feet tall to more than 20 feet tall, though more than 90% tend to stay between 6 and 7 feet tall. They are also capable of more colors than humans-their skin can be found in any color, just as their eyes, hair and even teeth.

Most spirits tend to hover or fly instead of walk, and spirits very rarely wear any clothes.

Spirits are very rare on Earth. They can not enter our world on their own. One must make a portal to The Realm of Spirits and make a contract with a spirit in order to invite them in. Spirits are bound to contracts that can be passed on from owner to owner. The only way a spirit can escape their contract is for the contract’s owner to die before they pass it on. Seeing as making portals to The Realm of Spirits is considered a lost art to most of the world, most spirits have been around since The Great Magic War, regardless to if they are free or still contract bound.
