Spirits and Spades: Leah drinks a rum and coke

"I'll take a rum and coke." she said with a smile.

"Hey! That's the....spirit." Tommy chuckled at his dad tier humor.

"It is 'spirits and spades' after all right?" she grinned.

"Very true." he nodded as he began to sip on his own glass of dark liquor and coke.

Jonathan brought her a short glass of rum and coke. Then he began to explain the rules of Spades. It had been a while but Leah was starting to pick it up again. They went through a practice game. And Leah found Jonathan had finished his own drink.

"You need something babe?" she asked as she found her own glass empty.
