Spirits and Spades: Just Leah takes a shot

"Shots already Luke?" Jonathan said with a grimace of judgement.

"What!? It's a holiday!" Luke defended himself.

"I'll take one." Leah said grabbing one off the tray.

"What about you Jon boy?" Luke asked teasing his brother.

"I'll pass for now. Thanks." he shuffled the cards getting ready for the next hand.

"What about you old man?" Luke proffered the tray to Tommy who took one.

"I'll show you whose old." he said raising his shotglass high. Everyone but Jonathan raised their glasses and took the shot.Leah grimmaced at the vodka that burned her throat but what could one expect?

The game continued and it was still rather close but Luke and Tommy had a strong set while Leah and Jonathan were sand bagging quite a bit.

"You need a drink honey?" Jonathan asked as he headed toward the kitchen.
