Spilling Secrets

She stared at me for a few seconds, before bursting into laughter. “Bullshit, bull-fucking-shit,” She said, shaking her head, “This is another one of your pranks or something, isn’t it? Honestly I expected you to do something like this when I gave it to you, just not at three am.”

My hands gripped the edge of the table as I shook my head, “Shubhra, I’m not fucking with you here, it really did work.”

Shubhra just laughed even harder, “So, you have some sexy demon from hell as your **** now? Where is she, in the car, I’m dying to meet her.”

"Dude, I'm not messing with you," I said, "Like I know it sounds ridiculous but I'm not lying."

"You're not lying about summoning a sex demon?" She asked, raising her eyebrows.

“No, I-”

I opened my mouth, but closed it right after, letting Shubhra continue her gloating. There was no way she was going to believe any of this was real, and telling Shubhra about what happened with Mom and Aunt Heather would be a terrible idea. She’d probably think I was some weird fucked up pervert for even thinking about something like it.

“Well, you kind of are,” Julia said, and I almost groaned out loud. “You know, now that she mentioned it, you should let me talk to her.”

“You can do that?”

“I mean,” She hesitated for a second, “I should be able to. I’ve never actually spoken but it can’t be too different from what I did earlier. The only problem is, well, I’m not sure how much energy it’ll use up.”

I bit my lip. Did I even have a choice? There was no way Shubhra would believe me. At least with Julia in her head as well, she won’t be able to rationalize something like that.

“Okay,” I said slowly to Julia, “Go ahead.” I could have sworn Julia ‘nodded’ in my head, whatever the hell that meant. It was one thing hearing her ‘say’ things, but feeling her body language was something that I still couldn’t get used to.

“Man, I can’t believe you really tried to fuck with me like that.” Shubhra laughed, “Like, did you think I;d actually fall for-”

In the middle of her sentence, Julia spoke up. “He’s fucking with you, honey, I’m real,” She purred.

Fuck, even just her tone was enough to raise a rather large bulge that pushed against the fabric of my jeans. But the effect it had on Shubhra was much much more pronounced.

Her mouth hung open, the color draining out of her face as she looked at me, her eyes widening in only what I could describe as overwhelming shock.

A grim smile spread across my mouth, “Shubhra, meet Julia. Julia, meet Shubhra.”
