Spike gets staked

"What makes you", was all Spike managed to get out before Buffy exploded through the door and staked him.

"I heard all about your little plan to betray us! Well, guess what, you might not be a vampire but this stake should work fine."

She slowly walks towards me, forcing me to back away from her unless I get that stake shoved through my heart, I'm no vampire but humans tend to die aswell when stabbed in the heart with a pointed wooden stake.

"Say anything to take over my mind and you're dead!", she tells me as she presses the point into my chest.

I have never been more happy to trip over something as I am now, forcing me to shuffle backwards pushed me closer to the bed and her last shove pushed against the edge sending me falling backwards. This was my chance!

"STOP! Put down the stake and listen to me very carefully"

She froze mid strike, then dropped the stake on the floor. I pulled her onto the bed with me and sat on top of her. Normally she would have thrown me clear through the roof, now she can't do anything but lie there untill I order her to do something.
