Spider-Man takes a dive.

After that horrible weekend was over, Nick Katzenberg set up camp with his car outside the Parker's hovel apartment complex. He had to get that proof. Especially if he wanted to enact the next part of his plan... blackmailing Mary Jane Watson.

"For chrissakes, there are fucking crimes left and right out here... that dopey Spider-Man could be out at any time," he bemoaned as he crushed another cigarette out and tossed it from the car.

His police scanner was indicating small crimes, nothing that would draw in a bona-fide superhero. Enough was enough, and taking matters into his own hands he called 911 from his cell.

"Yeah... yeah.. uhhh.. you gots to hurry... ummm... that dude uhhhh.... Rhino is breaking into the bank on 49th..."

The 911 operator started to speak, "ok sir.. who," when Katzenberg just ended the call.

"That ought to get the web head out."

Think what you want of Nick Katzenberg but within a matter of minutes his plan sprung into action. He was able to glimpse Spider-Man opening a window on the 5th floor, his web shooters at the ready.

As Nick Katzenberg suspected, Peter unknowingly put on the broken web shooters. And as he jumped out his apartment window, he quickly realized his mistake.

"Whhhoooahhhhhh......" Spidey yelled out, now in freefall towards the alley pavement.

*Crash!*

*BAM!*

*Smash!*

Spidey hit several awnings and fire escapes on his way down, causing Katzenberg to roar with laughter. His camera at the ready was snapping it all as it went down.

Hurting Spider-Man wasn't Nicks primary objective, a "nice-to-have" effect, but his goal of confirming his guess was pure gold. He now had dirt on Peter, and if he had dirt on Peter, he had dirt on Mary Jane Watson.

"Jackpot," he said as he smiled at the injured Spider-Man dusting himslef off in the alley. A wide grin on Katzenberg's face as he started his car up and sped away.
