Spider-Gwen and MJ (Earth-65 Alt)

Alright people. Let's start at the beginning one last time.

My name is Gwen Stacy. I was bitten by a radioactive spider and for the last two years, I have been the one and only Spider-Woman. You guys know the rest.

I joined a band, saved my dad, I couldn't save my best friend Peter Parker so now I save everyone else. And I don't do "friends" anymore, just to avoid any distractions.

Then one day, one of my bandmates followed me home. MJ. She was the one I was trying to avoid most of all. She was lead vocalist in our band. It was named after her after all: The Mary Janes. She was always a bit of a tight-ass about it, but she was always very dedicated in making it big, which is surprising since she hasn't kicked me out yet.

It wasn't having to explain to my bandmate why I was constantly late that was the problem. It was how close the three of us were. Peter Parker was like a brother to me, and MJ was his girlfriend and my best friend. When Peter died, things sort of fell apart. His **** effected the both of us and all we had was each other. Or at least thats how she thought of it. I had Spider-Woman to worry about.

It was just another day. Doc Ock was building some solar-powered engine that was going to nuke the city and I had to be the one to stop him. Unfortunately, MJ was also there, having been kidnapped as part of a captive audience for his "grand reveal."

Things were going business as usual: I punched him, he tried to punch me, he threw a rock at innocent bystanders and I snagged it in webbing. The platform under MJ collapsed and I threw myself down to save her. Unfortunately, I must have said the wrong thing -- like her name -- and a week later she cornered me at the end of school.

"Gwen, we need to talk."

"Oh, well, I can't. I gotta--"

"I know you're Spider-Woman."
