Spell 3: Shrinking

Ted tried to tell people that Raven was doing something to him. But whenever he did, his voice would literally fail him. He was trapped. His body was changing, and no one could hear him.

The next morning, Ted yet again felt like something was off. He wasn't sure what it was until he got out of bed.

And fell out of bed and onto his face. When he stood up, everything looked bigger.

"Fuck fuck fuck," he mumbled, looking at his body. Last night, he was 6'5. Now, he was maybe 5 feet tall. Nearly a foot and a half shorter than before.

His room was different as well. The shelves were lower, his chair smaller, and a step stool was in his closet, likely so he could reach the top shelf.

He didn't want to leave his room. For the first time in a decade, he wanted to cry.

But he didn't. He refused. Instead, he got angry. He'd find a way to make George and Raven pay.

Ted's social life was strangely unchanged. He still had the same friends, even if he couldn't match them in physical competition. The football team still treated him as one of the guys.

Obviously, he wasn't smart enough to figure out why. But given that his personality and wealth has been untouched, this makes sense.

The only difference was that girls were more interested in being his friend, and less interested in getting in his bed.

But everything still felt wrong. Instead of looking down at people, he literally had to look up at them. And he hated it.

Somehow, someway, he was going to make Raven turn him back.
