Speeding Along

Henry sat back and enjoyed feeling the engine's power as he sped along. Suddenly his heart sank when he heard a siren and saw a flasing light in the rear view mirror. Yep, a cop car. Glancing down, he saw he was doing 60 mph in a residential zone. He pulled over.

The police car come in behind him and the officer got out and walked towards him He thought about making a quick grab for the pencil and notebook, but remembered the police don't like it when you make sudden grabs for things in the car. Instead he rolled down the window and sat, thinking furiously about how he could get out of this. The officer's head appeared at his window and asked, "You know why I stopped you, don't you?"
