Chapter 5
You have made it to the gate of the 'capitol': what do you say or do now?
Speech: Awkward
From somewhere in the back of the crowd comes a person chanting "Speech, speech, speech!" and shortly it is picked up by the entire assembly:
"Speech, speech, speech, speech, speech!"
After a second you decide to give them what they want: and hope that you can at least inspire them to fight The General even if you die today.
Holding your hands up for silence you call out "Alright, alright, pipe down!" and after a few seconds there is an expectant hush.
"I don't have very much experience with speechifying," You begin, still not sure quite what to say. "But I want you all to know that I came back because what The General has been doing sending boys like me and all the others who have gone on The Ordeal is WRONG!" You say picking up an old thread of reasoning from your time in the wilderness. "We should be building up our numbers, forging weapons and armor from the resources we can mine out of these hills, and training an army to take back our planet, not wasting the lives of half the people born here on some kind of pseudo-religious ritual which only serves to add one more zombie to the numbers that surround us already!" You go on. "If I manage to kill The General today I want you all to know that I am doing this for you, and for all of your brothers, cousins, and fathers who have died during The Ordeal already: but if I don't what I want you to remember is that The General is only one man, and he is not getting any younger, if more people stand up to him, if everyone stands up to him, he wont be able to fight us all, and we can free the Pepsi colony from his tyranny!" You finish, still not quite sure what exactly you are saying, but hoping that your intent got through.
For a moment, no one reacts, and then...
What's the crowd's reaction?
Rise Up

It is the year 2087, the five plagues of 'Armageddon' have reduced humanity to a handful of enclaves eking out an existence on the fringes of the world. In one of these enclaves, a mountain fastness in what was once southern Pennsylvania, a young man becomes leader of the colony when he defeats the aged tyrant that has held power for 20 years.
