Specters

“Specters"

Specters are incorporeal manomos that are very dangerous and unpredictible.

They do not have a definitive form, being able to change their appearence to anything they desire and can pass through any phisical obstacles, possess organisms and move things from their surroundings.

Specters aren't in fact spirits and are, in fact, entities made out of pure dark mana. However, they take advantage of being mistaken by ghosts, taking the form of those who passed away and pretending to be them in order to scare their victims. They have a very sadistic humour, enjoying to traumatize their victims, but they are harmless and do not want to cause physical harm.

Since manomos have dark mana coursing through their veins, specters can fuse with that mana and control the manomo like a puppet. They can also change the flow of dark mana in the body, altering the manomo's anatomy wihout causing harm to them and can enhance the manomo’s physical and magical powers.

The same thing goes for when the host is a human female, where Specters irreversebly turn them into manomo and control them. But when it's a human male, the specter can either change him into a manomo like the previous ones or claim him as her husband and starts live inside his body.

When a specter lives inside her husband, she makes him to literally share his thoughts with her, and she can occasionally control his body to "play" with him. Since they share one body, the Specters can drain the husband’s mana passively without any sexual intercourse, but they still prefer to do so, as they take a more physical form to satisfy the man’s needs.
