Speak with Dinah.

You knock softly on Dinah’s colorful door, and she opens it to reveal herself in her paint-stained T-shirt and jeans once again. “Oh, hey there. I guess you wanna talk about the match?”

“Well, that and I just wanted to check up on you, make sure everything was OK,” you reply.

{if Defeated Dinah = true}“Well, thanks, that’s real sweet of you,” she says. “But I’m a pretty tough girl. I’ll pull through.”

“Don’t I know it,” you chuckle.{endif}{if Defeated Dinah = false}“Well, that’s real sweet of you, but maybe I’m the one who should be checking on you,” she says, looking you up and down for signs of injury.

“Well, it didn’t exactly go my way,” you admit, “but I’d like to think I at least got a couple good hits in.”

“You certainly did,” she says with a laugh.{endif}

Though most of the door is occupied by her body, you can still catch a couple glimpses of her dressing room, including what looks like a new painting. Your brow furrows quizzically as you glance at it.

Noticing you looking past her, Dinah starts in surprise. “Oh, of course! Where are my manners? C’mon in, John.”

As you follow her into the room, you see that the new painting is a rendering of you and her during your match. It shows the two of you charging at each other, determined looks on both your faces, lit from above by intense floodlight while the crowd cheers on the competition. You can almost hear them roaring in your mind as you examine the painting.

“What do you think?” she asks, coming to stand beside you.

“It’s beautiful,” you tell her, “but I think you made me look a lot sexier than I really am.”

She glances at the figure of you in the picture, then at the real you standing beside her, and says, “No, I really didn’t.”

“Oh,” you say, briefly at a loss for words. “Thanks.”

“No, thank you,” she says, turning to face you fully. “You did me a huge favor, setting me up with a match like that. I feel better than I have in months.”

“You’re welcome,” you say, {if Defeated Dinah = true}“but I thought you might be kind of upset about losing the match that was supposed to be your triumphant return.”

“I mean, of course I wish I’d won,” she admits, “but that’s how it goes. Win some, lose some. I’m just glad to be back in it again.”{endif}{if Defeated Dinah = false}“and congratulations on winning your big triumphant return.”

“Aw, yeah, it’s good to be back in the saddle again,” she boasts, letting her Southern accent thicken into the one she uses in the ring. “But really, win or lose, I’m just glad to be back in it.”{endif}

“I’m glad you’re back, too,” you tell her honestly, “and not just because of...” You gesture up and down her statuesque body, drawing an amused laugh from her throat. But then you look her dead in the eye. “You’re an incredible fighter, and the League should be proud to have you.”

She smiles at you with genuine joy, cheeks dimpling as the expression spreads across her face. “Likewise, John.”

{if Defeated Dinah = true}You wave at her and turn to leave, but she holds up a hand. “Y’know, I’ve been doing this whole sexfighting thing for a while, and even with all that training and talent, you’re still pretty new to it. If you ever need some tips on how to do things around here, give me a call. I’ll be happy to help you out.”

You nod at her excitedly. “I’ll see you soon, then.”

“Looking forward to it,” she says with a grin as you head out.{endif}
