Speak loudly

You're supposed to be a big shot guardian. A real badass.

"The spirit speaks!" you shout, projecting your voice.

The crowd looks at you. Prince Jun seems surprised. "And the spirit acts as well".

You approach him. He looks weak, barely supported by his frame. His blue skin is paler than the others. You touch him with your hands, and the black clad man draws his sword, rushing to you.

"If you attempt to take the Prince's life alongside your own, then I shall cut you in twain."

Prince Jun weakly raises his hand. The man withdraws his blade, sliding it back in it's sheath.

"I apologize for Devilnuts, he is a great warrior, but not the most trusting."

You stifle a smirk. Is that really his name? Devilnuts keeps a stoic face, unwilling to act against his liege.

"Proceed" Jun says.

You focus, and your hands glow yellow. As you touch Jun, you feel information. His age, 20. His different, genetic disorders. The parasites inside of his colon. And even something else. Poison. Small, trace amounts.

You acquire his DNA. You will be able to shapeshift into him.

Now, you focus on removing these blights. You feel the parasites pop. So small, now gone. The genes, they repair themselves. And the poison is flushed out.

You open your eyes. Jun has changed. He stands upright, stretching his back. He smiles, for the first time, his body is without pain.

"I, I'm."

"You're cured, Prince Jun."

The crowd murmurs.

Prince Jun attempts to jump in the air and dance, moving his limbs in ways he's always been too tired to. Unused to this type of display, he trips and falls in front of everyone. The crowd look away, and Devilnuts helps him up. Jun looks around, still happy, but he hides his smile. Embarrassed.
