Sweet dreams...

Space and Apologies?

Chapter 6 by Hummingbird11 Hummingbird11

Dustin woke up completely refreshed after a previous hard day of work. It took a lot of energy to manipulate Jennifer into doing what he wanted without anyone finding out. Well, Dustin considered it wasn't that much work, since this mysterious app was doing the heavy lifting, but even so, he could've been caught if he rushed things too fast. He wanted to push things more with Jennifer last night, but he figured that any more would be too much for one session. Jennifer seemed oddly receptive to his suggestions, but that was probably because she was sleeping and her mental defenses were down. Dustin pondered the thought as he rummaged through the fridge for something to eat and came across a plate wrapped in plastic with a piece of paper on top of it.

He opened the piece of paper to reveal a handwritten note by Marcus for Jennifer.

{letter signed "Marcus"}

Dear Jennifer,

I’m sorry about last night. I was truly exhausted and couldn’t gather the strength to stay awake for even a moment once I’d gotten into bed. I know that you’re probably disappointed with how things ended up, but I wanted you to know that I love you. You make me the happiest man in the world, and I’m glad to wake up to your face every morning. I’ve made one of your favorites before I left for work. Hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me.

With Love,

{endletter}

Dustin looked at the heartfelt letter and ripped it up before throwing it in the trash. He couldn’t allow Jennifer to read it and forgive Marcus for his behavior last night. Luckily, Jennifer already left for work, so she must have grabbed something on the way rather than make something herself; otherwise, she would’ve found the note. Dustin didn’t even want to think about how that would’ve messed up his plans as he grabbed the plate Marcus had made. He removed the plastic wrap to reveal a plate full of blueberry pancakes, bacon, and scrambled eggs.

He sat at the table and ate the delicious meal Marcus made with a smile on his face. After all, the best food is free food. After eating breakfast, he searched the internet for pictures of Marcus’s boss. He wanted to see just how hot she was and not rely on his memory for it. It took a bit of time, but he managed to find her account and learned that her name was Gabriella. Most of the pictures were boring, but at least they didn’t hide the fact that she was a very fit and an attractive woman, like most of Jennifer’s outfits. Thankfully, he managed to find a sexy pic of her relaxing in the park. Dustin wasn’t complaining at the sight of her on her knees on the ground with her huge bubble butt in the air. Her black gym shorts leaving nothing to the imagination. That wasn’t even mentioning the practically see-through white T-shirt she wore that showed off her sizeable tits. She was drenched in sweat, but she didn’t seem at all bothered by it as she smiled at the camera. Her hazel eyes locked on it with a gaze that radiated calmness and grace as her long brown hair fell to the ground. Dustin was tempted to make a move on her through Marcus, but his focus needed to be on Jennifer for now. He saved the picture and went to the living room to relax.

Jennifer was currently driving home after another long day at work and was reflecting on how her day had gone. She knew she woke up with a huge smile on her face from a pleasant dream she had. Jennifer couldn’t remember the details, but she knew that besides the small unpleasant part in the middle, it was the best rest she had in weeks. Jennifer only had the feeling that someone deserved her thanks for it. Unfortunately, her good mood was immediately ruined by the empty bed beside her because she immediately started thinking about her husband, Marcus. The normal happy or neutral thoughts that she usually had about him were currently nonexistent. Instead, all she could think about was how disappointed she was in him and his actions. Jennifer frowned, thinking about the decision to accept the promotion and how he was currently happily spending his time with cute and sexy women in his workplace.

Jennifer got dressed and ready for work while she thought about how unappreciative and neglectful he was of her needs the night before. She almost didn’t even want to go to work until she realized that Dustin was sleeping in the other room. Thinking about him filled her with happiness and a sense of peace that she hadn’t had before. She could feel herself being reenergized thinking about how wonderful he was. Jennifer couldn’t let him see her acting defeated because of her husband. She could feel the negativity wash over her once again thinking about him, so she focused on how pleasant company Dustin was last night as she grabbed her things and headed to work. She didn’t have time to eat since she woke up slightly later than usual. It wasn’t enough that she was going to be late, but she didn’t have time to make any breakfast for herself.

Jennifer thought that work would have distracted her from thinking about Marcus. However, every now and then she would notice her wedding ring on her finger, and her thoughts would shift to thinking about him. Every time it happened, she could feel her mood worsen drastically as resentment, anger, and sadness bubbled up inside her with nowhere to go. Jennifer even considered calling Marcus and confronting him about it, but she didn’t want to have such a serious conversation while he was at work. Thankfully, thinking about Dustin would instantly make everything better and distract her enough that she completely forgot about Marcus. It made sense since Dustin was such a pleasant person to be around recently. He was a great conversationalist, very respectful, and very kind as well.

The longer she thought about Marcus, the more her opinion of him changed for the better. Dustin’s prior actions that she would’ve been mad about were viewed in a completely different light compared to before. Dustin asking her to clean the bathroom when it was his turn wasn’t him being lazy but proactive, since she could do the job much better than him. Dustin sitting on the couch and watching TV when she came home from work doesn’t mean that he wasn’t looking for a job. It just meant that he was taking a well-deserved break after searching all day. Dustin checking out her body wasn’t him being perverted but admiring her body and sense of style.

These kinds of thoughts kept Jennifer happy and productive throughout the day while simultaneously raising her opinion of Dustin with each passing moment. Unknowingly, by the time she pulled up in the driveway of her home, she didn’t really have any negative memories of Dustin that she could recall. Also, unsurprisingly, Marcus’s car wasn’t there, which meant that he was still at work. Jennifer couldn’t help but feel a sense of relief knowing that she didn’t have to deal with him right now. She’d much rather interact with Dustin instead.

Jennifer made her way inside and found Dustin sitting on the couch watching TV. Dustin paused the show he was watching to give her his full attention, and she couldn’t help but smile at him for that.

“Hey Jennifer, how was your day?”

Jennifer appreciated that he cared enough to ask as she answered, “Overall, it was a good day. I’ve got a lot of work done and was able to take care of everything I needed to for the day despite some distractions I had throughout the day.”

Dustin asked, “Did you talk to Marcus at all?”

Jennifer felt her mood instantly drop at the thought of Marcus as she angrily replied, “No.”

Dustin seemed equal parts relieved and curious as he asked, “Did something happen?”

Jennifer sighed, “No, nothing happened. If it's alright with you, then I’d rather talk about something else.”

She didn’t want to get into the whole situation with Marcus right now. She wanted to relax, and she knew Dustin was great at helping her relax. Dustin nodded as his eyes roamed over her body. Jennifer realized that she was still wearing her oversized hoodie and wasn’t as comfortable as she could’ve been now that she was home.

“I should probably take off these clothes and change into something more comfortable.”

Dustin smiled as he replied, “You should. However, why do you normally wear such baggy and oversized clothes?”

“I don’t like being stared at by a group of strangers wherever I go. They eye me up like I’m a piece of meat or use my body as an excuse to ignore what I have to say, even when they know I’m a married woman.”

Dustin frowned. “I’m sorry to hear that, but at least you love my gaze on your body. It makes you feel sexy, wanted, and appreciated, unlike other people.”

Jennifer couldn’t help but find herself agreeing with what he said. She gazed at him as he found herself looking at her huge tits and couldn’t help sticking out her chest a little so that he could get a better view. Dustin smirked at the change and called her beautiful.

“Thanks, but I’m getting distracted. I need to get out of these work clothes and into something more comfortable.”

“Yeah, you’re way more comfortable wearing less clothes at home. Also, you should pick something that shows off your body to me. I would definitely appreciate it.”

Jennifer agreed that she was more comfortable wearing less clothing at home. However, she couldn’t help but subconsciously resist the idea of wearing something specifically to show off her body to someone who wasn’t her husband. Still, thinking about Marcus made those familiar negative emotions bubble back up to the surface and made her want to do the opposite of what he would’ve wanted out of spite. Plus, it would make Dustin, who's been so kind and appreciative to her, happy. Unbeknownst to her, these feelings allowed the suggestion to go through and make her want to pick something sexy to show off her body.
