Vanir cackled, and said, "I'll be sure to get your Arch Priest friend now, and with this body, she won't suspect a thi-"

"Sacred Exorcism!" Aqua shouted, and Vanir was blasted with holy magic.

"WAAAGH!?"

"Eh? Darkness?" Aqua said from just a small distance from the entrance.

"...do you always greet your friends with a blast of magic Aqua?" Kazuma deadpanned as he and Cremea exited the dungeon.

"Hot! Hot!" Vanir panicked, running about as magical holy flames were still trailing from him.

"I didn't know it was Darkness, I just felt a devil's presence coming out, so I let loose!" Aqua explained. "And it doesn't hurt humans anyway!"

"What's going on anyway Kazuma Sato?" Sena demanded.

"We ran into a Devil King General by the name of Vanir!" Kazuma explained. "He's currently possessing Darkness, and I ended up using the sealing tag you gave me to trap him in her, because she was resisting at the time, so I thought we could easily have Aqua take care of him from there!"

"You trapped him in your own comrade!? You are way too reckless with your party's safety!" Sena shouted. "...wait, did you say Vanir!? The devil who holds the power of foreknowledge and prophecy? THAT Vanir!?"

"... I guess?" Kazuma asked as Vanir recovered.

"Indeed! My name is Vanir!" he declared, his attention on Aqua. "A pleasure to meet you, priestess who shares the same name as the Goddess of Water! How vile and repugnant you are! I shall make you pay!"
