Penny stood there awaiting for Ruby's return, the hook still hadn't moved from the position since Penny had started her watch. It had already been fifteen minutes since Ruby had left, Penny was beginning to wonder what was taking so long for her friend to return, but nonetheless, Penny continued to watch the hook.

Penny then heard the sound of a branch break from behind, her causing her to turn around to face the direction the sound came from. Behind her was one of her fellow classmates, Cinder.

Penny: Salutations, Cinder!

Penny joyfully waved at her classmate. Cinder's face soured upon being greeted by the android.

Cinder: Oh, its just you. Why are you even out here? Don't you have class?

Penny pointed over to the hook.

Penny: I'm keeping watch over the grimm type known as the Hook Ray. Ruby was with me a moment ago and she's currently getting Ms. Goodwitch for assistance.

Cinder smirked upon spotting the hook. A devious idea popping up in her head.

Cinder: Oh no, I've got things to do. Rather not waste my day just standing around and waiting.

Cinder began walking away causing Penny to frown.

Penny: "Waste you day"? Its doubtful that it would take Ms. Goodwitch that long to deal with-

Cinder: And you know that how?

Cinder responded, not looking back to face Penny as she kept walking. Penny stood there in silence for a moment, contemplating what Cinder is implying. Cinder then suddenly stopped walking and turned to face Penny.

Cinder: I mean it would just save so much time in everyone's day if someone would just eliminate that thing already. But I guess no one here could possibly do that. It takes only that strongest of hunters to defeat a Hook Ray.

Cinder began to try and bait Penny, but knew it wouldn't be so easy to trick the android. She'd need to try and appeal to her want to impress, make friends, and be human.

Cinder: If there was a hunter like that around here besides the staff at the Academy, well, I'm pretty sure everyone would love them. They'd be praised and sought after...But, there's no one like that one around here. Nope!

And with that Cinder began to walk away once more. Leaving Penny alone with her own thoughts again. Penny stared at the hook, not just to watch it, but because she was contemplating what to do. Her thoughts would soon be interrupted when Cinder suddenly rushed back to her and swung an arm over her shoulder.

Cinder: Oh, and one last thing. This what some legend that I doubt is untrue, but, apparently they hooks attached to the Hook Rays are extremely fun to ride on. You'd have to be a skilled enough to escape it, but I guess that's part of the fun.

Cinder let of go of Penny before back up again and began to bait the android even further.

Cinder: But once again, that's just rumor. Doubt its true. Not like there's anyone out there to confirm that.

Cinder then rushed off somewhere in hurry. This time, actually leaving Penny by herself. Just Penny and the Hook Ray.
