The world was changing around her so Elizabeth didn't notice that her pen had somehow ended up stuck in the book and when she closed it had crossed off the line "Jane is a Slave woman owned by Elizabeth Randolph"
Jane was sitting on the chair she had seen what her master had written and was fully expecting nothing to change but then suddenly she felt like she was sucked into a vortex as though her whole body was being torn apart and reassembled. This could be good, as long as he ended up class B or better he could probably get the book back and make himself an Alpha. Suddenly he realized that his knowledge of where the book was was draining he couldn't hold onto it for much longer so he desperately held onto one single thing. The name Elizabeth Randolph. His body was being stretched and changed back into a male shape, he thought with a smile that this might mean he was going to be an Alpha but instead his body seemed to coalesce into what it had been before the change apparently he was a Beta male, considering his options John breathed a sigh of relief that he hadn't become a diaper boy or worse.
He was in a cubicle and seemed to be working on some basic accounting, no surprise there even before he found the Book he had been a CPA. He shook his head to clear it Elizabeth Randolph that's who he needed to find. He knew if he found her he would find the book but he didn't know anything else. He looked around surreptitiously to make sure that no one was watching.
