Makoto figured he'd type in something small just to test it. Of course it wouldn't work, but in the event that this was some kind of prank and he was being monitored, he didn't want to risk anything big.

"W-What?" Makoto asked, shocked at the magic that had just occurred. His jacket, which was indisputably brown a second ago, was now blue.

However, his handbook pinged him with a notification. Boring Change Detected! 6 Hours Subtracted from Timer!

The timer was now at six hours, and was ticking down.

"...Boring Change?" Makoto asked. "What does it want me to do with it?"

Makoto now believed in the power of the app. Turning his jacket blue? Impossible to explain otherwise.

But the app had penalized him for a boring use of the app. So he had to figure out what exactly it wanted. Maybe it wanted something exciting...
