Something freeing.

Chrissi opened the case with a flourish, revealing another small placard and a remote. The placard had a symbol of a person's head with radiating lines around it. Chrissi squealed with excitement. "Oh wow, this is a really good one! You-"

"Shut the fuck up!" the hostess roared and the bimbo cowered in fright. "I'm the hostess and you're the stupid cunt that's gonna be selling her ass for spare change if I have cut you off again!" She turned and smiled warmly to the audience, the rage melting off of her exquisite features. "My dear assistant forgets her place sometimes, folks. But she's right about one thing- this is a good one!"

Sasha swallowed hard as the hostess began describing the card's effects.

"This one will pair quite nicely with your newly diminished capacities, Sasha. As you can see, there's a remote here. This remote will control something about you. Whoever has it will be able to alter you at will. If you have it, you'll be able to change yourself! Unfortunately, if someone else gets ahold of it, you can't get it back unless they freely offer it to you. Let's talk about the effects!

"Option 1: Intelligence. I know, I know, it's a bit of a cliche, but wait till you see it in action! Sliding dial up makes you smarter and down makes you stupider. A timeless classic!

"Option 2: Resistance. This is your ability to resist other people. If we crank it up, you'll suddenly be obstinate, petty, and ready to get in a fistfight over any trivial disagreement. If we turn it down, though, you'll become a bit of a people-pleaser. After all, if someone says they need your car more than you, who are you to disagree? If Chrissi here wants to rail you with a strap-on, how could you say no to that? At its lowest level you effectively become a puppet for anyone nearby.

"Option 3: Emotions! There's a little more to this one. Each major emotion has a dial that can be set independently. You can regulate how much of each emotion you're feeling at any time! For example, if we set loneliness and anger to 10 and the rest to zero, well, you'd be right at home on the internet. But if we set happiness to 10 and sadness to zero, you wouldn't be able to stop laughing! You can toggle externalities as well- if we don't allow externalities, nothing can change your mood! You might cry through a date or laugh through a funeral and nothing anyone says or does will change how you feel.

"Option 4: Sexiness. This is pretty straightforward. The higher the dial goes, the sexier you'll act. At two you'll get a little flirty, at five you'll probably be kind of handsy. Seven will have seduction be a part of every interaction you have, and at ten you'll be a complete sex bomb. You'll be completely oblivious to all of it - it'll just seem like a normal, run-of-the-mill visit to the grocery store when you flash the cashier your tits or offer to suck off the other customers. You'll also be supernaturally sexy - when it's turned up high, only the most strong-willed people will be able to resist your charms."

Sasha listened to the monologue glumly, trying to game out each of the choices in her head. She tried really hard to think of reasons not to choose any of them but nothing was coming to mind. What would be the harm in someone being able to alter her intelligence? They could make her smarter! And sexiness is a positive quality - the sexier, the better, right?

The hostess chuckled at her deliberations. "Oh, poor little Sasha. Having a hard time deciding?"
