Chapter 7 by Verdant_Hatchling Verdant_Hatchling

Oooh.

Something else though?

This left the somewhat odd ice creatures, an absurd mixture of Frost Giants and polar bears, each one well over thirty feet tall, and over ten million of them were scattered all about the planet, as they formed thousands of various townships and tribes, all warfaring and violent, even to each other.

And then, in the middle of the year, while Donovon was bored, he moved his complacent hands in creating gargantuan Dragons of ice, as they soared across the grand planet, ever growing the circle of life that was present.

As Donovon was witnessing the major shifts across his world, an odd, somewhat vile grin appeared on his supposedly emotionless form’s face, as he had the marble orbiting him grow, and grow, and grow, as its orbit shifted to follow Donovon’s home.

He had limited its size to a large moon's worth, as it began revolving around the icy blue planet, and now, Donovon could see the frozen bodies in great detail, as he reached out a hand, as the skeletons began to similarly grow.

And as the skeletons grew to truly gargantuan scale, four two thousand foot tall figures began wandering around the frozen moon, as their bodies rapidly regrew flesh of a molten ice composition. These truly monstrous beings of Donovon’s creation had very limited intelligence, though they were mighty, their intelligence was comparable to wild animals, which made their already impressive power increase absurdly alongside their animalistic urges.

Apart from the four Titans, Donovon developed a small civilization of Frostkin on the moon, as well, as twenty thousand ten foot beings of Frost had a mighty kingdom sprout from nothing, with five thousand foot tall walls protecting them.

Donovon glared about his creations, already bored with nothing to do. So, Donovon set into place the time scale of his custom planetary orbit, as he flew into the sky, moving thousands of miles a second, as he traversed the grandness of the cosmos.

He passed by tens of planets, stars, solar systems, all passed in an instant, as Donovon arrived before Earth, after having moved millions of miles from his own system.

“What should I do now…” An inquisitive Donovon was looking at the form of Earth, finding a view of its entirety within his sight, he pondered what his hand could create. And as he reached his arm out, an eerie feeling began apparating all across the globe, as many of the prominent superheroes of this world began flying to find the threat.

As the many heroes capable of flight throughout the world flew up to meet the possible enemy, many of them left in fear as soon as they laid their eyes upon the absolutely absurd form floating in space, leaving mainly the Justice League, and a few other renowned heroes, waiting to assess the threat.

Two separate Green Lanterns, Shazam, a familiar dog, in Krypto, Starfire, and countless others were waiting for Donovon’s first move.

All the while… Donovon was gleeful at the gathering he’d warranted, as he retracted his hand, as he spoke in a monstrously booming voice, “Hello, Heroes of Earth… I am Donovon Osterman… Or, I was… It is nice to meet you all… My arrival at this time is a wonderful event… Let’s put to the test the might of Earth… Is it strong enough to last the coming foes…?” While Donovon hadn’t yet become aware of the specific foes coming, he felt a sense of danger, omnipresent in his equally omnipresent sight.

One of the Green Lanterns flew up, and asked, “Is this… Like training? You’re not gonna kill us?”

“No… Not unless it comes to it… But it won’t… None present can compare to what I've become…” Donovon’s previous expression of glee had dimmed to one of sorrow.

The heroes floating about were drawn to make shocked exasperations, as Donovon returned his hand out, a mighty surge of blue light singing into existence, burning away the air present, though that wasn’t much of a problem for the people present, what followed was.

Aside from the blue surge, half of the heroes were frozen in time, but only bodies, as they began plummeting towards the ground, leading half of the remaining figures to save them, even though it was pointless, as they were immune to damage in their frozen forms.

He wasn’t that vicious.
