Something confusing.

As Chrissi opened the briefcase, Jessica found herself anxious but oddly calm. It felt weird, being lobotomized. Like everything was just a little blunter, a little less vivid. Other than the fact that she couldn't think as well, she couldn't react as much either. Jack was saying something, though. She should pay attention.

"...now that we've messed with your personality and your brain, we can really dig in to Jessica as a social creature. This one will alter your relationships and the way you interact with people."

Relationships? Like boyfriend and girlfriend? How was it gonna mess up her relationship when she was single? "I, uh, don't understand. What about my relationships?"

The host walked over to her and patted her on the head condescendingly. For some reason it didn't make her mad when he did that. It took her a moment to remember why. He turned to the audience.

"Of course you don't understand. Let me put it this way - it changes how people treat you. Folks, should we give her the options?"

The audience cheered wildly and she blushed. Were they cheering for her? It was so hard to think now.

"Option 1: Universal authority. Everyone on earth now has full authority over Jessica and she must meet any demands they make. Now, as with all of these, this will be obvious to all involved as soon as the change takes place. Everyone she interacts with, from family members to strangers, will intuitively understand their power over her. She'll also fit into the role without complaint.

"Option 2: Universal Dismissal. Nobody will consider poor Jessica's needs, thoughts, or feelings. She'll be treated as disposable, barely a person. Waitstaff will ignore her, cars will not avoid her, even her friends and family will only consider her as an afterthought.

"Option 3: Mirroring. Jessica will find herself unable to resist mirroring the attitude, personality, and behavior of everyone she interacts with. Speaking to a sex worker will have her walking the streets, talking to a beggar will have her asking strangers for change, and of course dealing with dear Chrissi here might constrict her mind even further.

"Option 4: Universal Mutual Attraction. This one's my personal favorite. Every adult of sound mind that she interacts with will be profoundly sexually attracted to her and she to them. They will be overcome with lust and can only resist temptation with **** self-discipline. It ought to make funerals interesting!"

Jessica's mind had wandered while Jack was explaining stuff. She caught that one of the options made her do everything anyone told her to and another made everyone horny all the time. There was something about how she might be like Chrissi? She wasn't sure which one to choose and it didn't look like Chrissi was gonna help her out this time.

"Well, Jessie, what'll it be?"
