Something blocks Athena´s path

As the cop moved away, a dog took its place, blocking Athena’s path forward. The mutt growled at her, his ears back, his fangs bared.

“Woof!”

“G-good dog!” Athena crouched, gently hovering his hand over his face. “C-can you let me pass?”

“WOOF!” the dog took a bite out of the air.

“Ahhh! The dog is crazy!” Athena got up and ran back the way she came. The dog playfully began to pursue her. “Help me! I don’t want to get rabies!” Athena spotted a giant man and quickly took cover behind him. Surely, his rock-hard muscles could break the canine’s teeth if he tried to bite him.

“Hey, party girl, what’s wrong?” he asked.

“Can’t you see the dog-” Athena looked back where she came from, the mutt was no longer there. He got distracted by a piece of jerky sticking out of a garbage can and abandoned her pursuit. “Huh, I guess it’s gone.”

“Babe, if you wanted a hug, you need but to ask. No need to create imaginary dogs.”

“I didn’t imagine anything! There really was a dog chasing me into… into…” Athena’s face went pale, even Widget was drained of color. She had run back straight into the beach party. Everyone was cheering for her return. Everyone was staring at the firm buns on her behind hanging proudly in the air. “NOT AGAIN!”

Pushing the man aside, Athena closed her eyes and sprinted as far as her legs could carry her down the beach. “OH!! What is UP WITH THIS DAY!? Why am I constantly having these odd encounters!? Why do I have to deal with a bunch of dogs and cops and nonsense with every step I take?”

“You finally have inherited the Wright luck! You are part of the team!” Widget commented.

“I hope the Wright luck has run out, I don’t know if I can handle anyone else finding me naked.”

Event: Annoying Dog

A dog growls at you, seemingly intent on blocking your path. You must try to find a way around or to soothe the animal.

Difficulty: Medium.

Result: Failure. Lose 2 DP and move back two spaces as the dog chases you around.
