Chapter 121 by hambo hambo

Meanwhile...

Someone finds Hilda's book

As Hilda sensually scrubs away at the church floor and Sally toils in the garden, Merle, one of the church's other nuns, makes what will become a life-changing discovery.

As she busily sweeps around the entrance to the church, she discovers a peculiar item lying on the ground, next to the doorway.

A small book is resting on the ground, leaning against the wall. The curious nun picks it up and examines it.

"'What I Did For The Baron' By H.B. Quiverly?" The nun mumbles allowed as she examines the cover. "What on earth is this doing here?"

Merle was a shy girl, an orphan raised by the church. She was plain, scrawny, bookish, and prone to flights of fancy.

She casually opens the novel and flips to a random passage. Her cheeks turned red almost instantly.

"Oh... oh my!" The woman whispers as she cautiously looked about, like a thief scared of getting caught stealing. She quickly hiked up her dress, revealing her lack of undergarments (those were expensive, and she was but a humble, poor nun), and then hid the book underneath.

She held the novel there with her and then clumsily ran back to her room.

What has Hilda wraught upon these simple, innocent nuns?
